How was ShUT formed and what is its objective?

Following notification of the Development Application (DA) concerned residents organised a Public Meeting at the Tomerong School of Arts on Saturday 12 Sept 09. The notes from this meeting may be obtained if you click here (coming).

An outcome of the public meeting was the formation of a Working Group that first met on Wednesday 16 Sept 09. From this meeting Shoalhaven Unwanted Tip (ShUT) was formed. The primary objective of ShUT is to represent those members of the community who are concerned about Shoalhaven City Council DA09/2077 and to lobby all participants in the process to ensure that this development does not progress.
